happened to have 1 of each lying around....both are simular....

I have absolutely no experience in this but, while you wait for an answer, you could look up the lift and duration or other specs for similarities.

Nothing wrong since you already have one of each. Obviously the specs of each brand will be different, but if you know that's the duration and lift you want for the intake and exhaust, and you know that's the setup you want then sure. I don't know their specs off hand but Im sure they are similar enough anyhow.

would it be ideal? No
but it would absolutely work, and i dont think you will really notice much of a difference. You will still see nice gains.

Props to you Travis for an honest answer. I know a lot of companies would just insist to the customer to buy the second cam for their brand.

That being said, exactly for that honesty, and for all the positive feedback the GSC cams get on this forum, if the OP is going to do cams, why not just spring for the second matching GSC cam and do it right the first time?

Sugar doesn't dissolve on fuel, it'll clog the strainer or an injector though.
