get on the freeway, put the car in 5th gear going 60-65mph, floor it

you'll know if the clutch slips

X2, although this can make even a working clutch slip in an awd car lol

It mostly slips when I hit the gas but I was messing with my clutch pedal and It releases within an inch of touching it,could that also be an issue??...
And also it's going to be my daily driver for now what type of clutch should I get? Stage 1 or 2?

stg 1 stg 2 stg3 etc depend completely on what type / brand of clutch you get. dont buy a clutch based off "stages", but it based off what power it holds and what you needs are.

Well I want it mostly for everyday driving and a good pull if i ever decide to launch it.. I don't need a clutch that would be classified for racing

Pretty much a street clutch. A Competition Clutch stage 2, Exedy stage 1, or an ACT HDSS.

ACT seems to be a pretty popular amongst the community.

I've had pretty good luck with the HDSS for the past 2 years. Isn't overly aggressive but will hold a decent about of power. Comp stage 2 would have been another consideration.

Stick with the OEM flywheel or something of similar weight. Trying to DD with a lighten flywheel gets old real quick.

Ok so I decided to tweak with my clutch pedal I rotated the shaft counter clockwise and it seems that the clutch is not slipping as much now it still smells like the clutch is burning though any suggestions???

If you can't get it to stop slipping by adjusting it is clutch time.

If you are stock or near stock and can control your impulses, a stocker works fine. I have 85K on mine.

If the clutch plate material is worn out no amount of adjustment will help it, nor should you have to mess with the pedal, moving the shaft on the pedal only adjust the pedal not the actual clutch.

An oem replacement will work just fine. If you want something aftermarket I'd go with an Exedy Stg 1. I would not recommend any ACT product. If you can have the flywheel resurfaced go with that, if not a lightweight flywheel is not difficult at all to DD.
