My car is in a shop right now and i need a transfer case preferably a rebuilt one. Does anyone know where i can buy one. Im trying to avoid buying a used one from ebay. I tried Shep racing and Awd motorsports but they want my core to rebuild. Is my only option to have the shop send my tcase out?

 

thats about the cheapest and best option.
I would choose that option over buying another one because you will not know what is wrong with the one you just bought.
rebuilt is about as new and improved as you can get.

i just had mine rebuilt to stg 2 spec. ~$1500 bucks. the rebuild time was like 2 weeks. it is summer time so that wait time could increase the longer u wait.

also on a side note. please make sure the shop doing the install has installed tcases before. even an evo specific shop that did mine pinched the inner seal and it was leaking a week after. i guess they were too busy and had one of his friends install it instead of the main guy. fml
