Evo 9 driveshaft for evo 8

My mechanic lost my driveshaft for my evo 8 so now I'm looking for one, I found one on ebay but it's from an evo 9. Does anyone know if they are the same or if it will fit? Any info would be appreciated, thanks

its pretty easy to make two piece driveshafts. I made one for my evo iv. there are some details on how i did it in my evo 4 project build thread. show n shine section. i used a carbon shaft from rx8 for the rear section.
