This never happened to me and I've gotten ROCKED by two different hot rods that I had the misfortune to line up against.
Remember: Vishnu likes to play with the sensitivity of the stock knock control from the ECU so your XEDE is probably telling the ECU not to pick up the extra vibrations.

Replacing the KM on the Camaro was as easy as pulling a chip that was clipped on to the ECU. It took all of 5 minute. I think the knock module on the Evo is part of the ECU's programming.

If you're worried about the sensitivity, I'd talk to Vishnu. I believe they're the only tuner (That I've heard of) that messes with the factory knock parameters.

anybody stop to think that maybe it's just that we have an agressive cam stock so idle is not going to be so great. If you add something like an intake/bov and you don't reflash your car then it's going to be reading bad values almost all the time and that's just going to make it even worse.

I'm going with the knock sensor. My car is stock and I haven't had this problem though - my friend has an '03 Mustarg and it is LOUD! No cat, x-pipe and resonators. He's reved next to and it shackes my car but no stalling.

Yeah, my car has never stalled sense I owned it. I ran my AEM intake with no tuning for quite a while and never had any problems.

They had this discussion a lot before and I think that they came to the conclusion that it was something to do with the MAF sensor being too sensitive. I think they might of fixed it in the 05 though 'cause mine doesn't do it...

i used to own SHO's went to my 2004 Ralli art, went back to SHO's somthing about the SHO world i cant leave. perheps very few kids on there thinking they know everything and that an intake will give them 20 hp. ( not saying evo guys just saying *ricer 16 yr old boys* )its pretty much one big community with alot of people who frequent the board.and one big family who is always willing to drive 100 miles or more out of there way just to help out another SHO owner. dont know what a SHO is? think its just another Taurus? think again an do some re-search
