Email your SAFC settings!
Hey tuners,
I am new to the whole evo thing. Coming from the late 90 cobras I thought I had the fast car. lol I was wondering if anyone who is experienced in tuning the SAFC, would be kind to share some base settings so I can tune my evo. From reading I understand this may have been shared in another thread, but thought maybe some of you wouldn't mind helping. Okay, I recently purchased this great car and have added the following mods.
- 3 inch turboback, downpipe and hi flow cats, MBC set to 20psi, AEM intake and filter, and of course safcII set at a very conservative : 5200 -1, 5600 -1, 6200 -2, 6600 -3, 7200 -3, 7600 -4. We set these settings at a tuner using a datalogger but nothing else. He didn't want to go aggressive with leaning out the car until we had a wideband 02. Is it possible to lean it out more and still be safe? If you like, please email me some base settings so we can get this retired Mustang guy started.
Your reply is very important. Thanks for all your efforts.
Ps. what type of dyno numbers can I expect with those mods?
Thanks

Yes I wouldn't mind the same thing. Mods also would help out. I am running 20 psi with a greddy profec B 2, K&N Cone Filter, and 3" cat back. I am looking for some AFC 2 settings.
