So just picked up a new to me evo 8. Spent the last week or do doing some changes and getting the car set up for me. Alittle bit or rewiring working on the tune and just getting the car to where I want it.

So the question. The trans had a Quaife front diff in it as fare as performance goes I could not be happier. Buy it is a little on the noise side compared to the stock front diff. I looked on Quaife's website and they say it dose not need any special fluids. So then I looks up TRE'a site they say a good GL-4 Redline MT-90.

I trust TRE he has a good name and the trans that he ha build for me in the pas for my DSM was great. But never had a front diff in a trans before and would really like to quiet it down a little. I know products like sincromesh can build up film. Witch I don't want to risk. But would somthing like GM limited slip additive be helpful? I know on the trucks of you don't add it in the rear diff they make a hell of a nose.

I emailed John at TRE but he has not got back to me and I was hopping to do my fluids by this weekend.
