Precision JB- feed from head or oil housing?

I know there is a lot of information out there but it seems to be pretty mixed.

In my experience precision's love to smoke because PTE doesn't seem to believe in restrictors even on their JB units.

We all know the head doesn't provide a ton of oil but it seems like you shouldn't need a whole lot unless you want to have a smoking exhaust all the time.

Thoughts or experience?

IMO if its anything bigger than a 58 feed it from the oil filter housing/adapter. When I spoke to them I was told my 5831 will be fine being fed from the head. Been installed for over 9 months without issues.
