Evo IX starting issues
Well since i've bought my car i've always had the issue of it randomly not wanting to start. I will turn the key and I will just hear a click then nothing. Then usually if I tap the bottom of the steering column it will start up which makes me think that part is the ignition switch going bad.
However, starting today the car will crank over but not start and after a few times it started. Then when I was leaving work it cranked over and didn't want to start again only this time it didn't want to start after the 2nd or 3rd time. Then once it finally started it immediately died. I'm thinking either the fuel pump or the pump relay failed. Anyone know might what be the case here? similar experiences? Thanks

Check you ground wires like the one on the starter and cam sensor. Those little black wires, if they don't have a good connection, car won't start. I ended up having to zip tie the one on my starter and haven't had the problem since.
I haven't had a problem since I messed around with a few connections and reconnected them (Fuel pump, Cam sensors). Is it possible that a bad ignition switch could be causing this? Im pretty sure its definetly not the fuel pump because I can hear it lol
