Valve cover fittings

Quickie here. I'm piecing together a new catch can system with a new valve cover and fittings. Is there a rule of thumb when deciding on vent sizes? I'm leaning towards -10 for the rear and side of the valve cover. Thanks

Are you planning on drilling the baffles out and such, or pressing a fitting in? I would go with -10, and personally drilled/tapped my baffles and drilled the VC for -10an bulkhead fittings, but I believe for the rear vent someone now makes a -10an press-in fitting, making things much easier if you're fine with a -6an for the front hole.

Well I was planning on having someone do the work for me. I'm looking to keep my baffles in. I don't have the resources to do the work myself.

Save yourself the hassle and don't drill/tap the valvecover. Get a -10 press in fitting for the back and a -6 for the side. A guy that goes by the screen name Fairclough makes the -10 push in fitting. The -6 I got from STM.

Seems pretty hassle free to me. Do you retain the baffles?

I remove the baffle to make sure its completely clean and then drill tap and bolt them back down... Magnesium shavings and bearings dont get along so its probably the most important part of adding fittings.... Hence the 75... If i just drilled it out and added the fittings i wouldnt charge so much...
