So i saw a few people using the Gates timing belt of ebay T167 black one its about 20 bucks, I used to have the T167RB1 I payed around $150 and this shop installed it WRONG and it actually skipped a few of tooth and messed everything up like 2 years ago. What is the difference between these two? Im redoing my whole evo new paint and drivetrain. New everything on it, just want to be on the safe side. This might sound stupid but is the $20 gates belt as good as the $150 one?

 

Rb is the racing belt line.
Supposed to be stronger and last longer than the regular one.
