Hey guys
Done a little bit of research but haven't found to much info that has me sold on these clutches.
Im in Australia and we have some dealers selling the Competition Clutch twin plate for great prices, but not many real reviews.
Im in the process of putting a 4G64 back in my Evo 9, 5-speed and looking at making around 400kwatw's max.
I want a nice drive-able clutch (my wife drives my car twice a week to work), dont care about about twin plate noise, I track and drag race mine as well.
Any issues with the Competition Clutch twin plates I should know about?
Any reviews would be great?
Drive-ability? Gear changes? Pedal feel? High RPM lock out issues?
Do they last at the drags after 10 or so big launches?

Newbie
i have used a few twindisks in my life on other cars. on my evo i have had act (WAK!), Competition single 3.5 (to test a turbo) and i just put in a cc twindisk (going to attempt to make 600+). there are several differnt versions of this disk. A, B, C rated at 550tq, 650tq, and 750tq. i have seen the A slip at 525tq. So i decided to go with the C= 750tq. i was affraid it was going to be real harsh, but its not. it is actually Better then my single disk. it is too early to tell but, i actually feel this is a easier clutch to drive than others i have tried which are, cusco twin, exedy twin, act sinngle (1000 of these), os giken. Honestly people have said it is really harsh and there is a lot of bark, but i (may be i am a freak) felt it was like the stock clutch. the best part is this is a push type conversion. the mechanics of the conversion (the way cc chose to convert) allows for more ajustments for the driver comfort. hope i was helpful
Yes you have been helpful.
Yes I'm going for the type C rated one as well, might as well go the big one and over compensate.
