Hahaha sorry had my head wrapped around accounting stuff for the last few days.

This is a cast manifold for the EVO 9 and it will be available soon as soon as I can disclose pricing and time frame I will.

As for the turbine housing, that's still secret squirrel stuff :P

What is the benefit of your cast unit above the stock unit? The stock unit is quite stout and is used very successfully by people doing all different forms of racing. It stands up to road racing very well and I have yet to hear of one cracking.

I would figure it probably flow's better spools better and it obviously looks better. Stock is pretty ugly.

I'd like to see a comparo to a ported stock manifold. Which raises the question as to whether ultimately the FP piece will benefit from porting too. So, we'd have to compare a ported stocker to a ported FP manifold on the same engine.

T1 used to have a pulse damper on their site to keep it all even which is what we have on Jeff's car. Essentially a piece of 1.5" tubing with steel wool in it, capped, then fittings added. Filters out ALL the noise.

You say 9, but certainly there's no reason it won't work on an 8, too. Right?

If FP comes out with the mother of all turbos, I am in. And by that I mean something that can spool quick AND flow a lot. Maybe that's asking too much with limited displacement, but what the hell. Aim for the stars and maybe you'll reach the moon.

Right now, my "perfect" set-up would be a 2.3 with a BBK-B and the ER/GSC R1 cams. So, if this ends up being an improvement on that set up I am all ears

^^^Erik, I'm not far from your dream setup. Evo 8, 2.3L, HKS 7640. Spools like a dream, and made 408hp/391tq, 93 pump gas, at 26psi on Mustang dyno. Don't know what the difference will be with the R1 vs. older 272 S2 cams.

Excited to see this FP development!
