head studs what do u guys prefer

head studs what do u guys prefer

Looking to get New headstuds since i am removing the head. So i am stuck between the New a1 map performance studs and the arp studs.. Lmk your guys opinion

I did the arp
Most guys here have arp too
retorque them after a few heat cycles.

im definitely not going to put one down vs the other, since MAP and others make top of the line stuff. For me, when I got em, I went with ARP. most people I know go with them as well.

however map and the l19s have some good results behind em too.

Look at high hp build threads and see what we are using.

ARP. Got into them back in the day with dsm's and continue to have great results into the evo world.

I have ARP L19 and would recommend them but.....check out the MAP ones, they have a unique design which makes a lot of sense.

Whichever you choose, follow the instructions to the letter and do not be tempted to deviate. Even the ARP 2000s will handle just about anything, so long as they are correctly installed.
