Turbo Labs 25G Turbo Failed in less then 2 months!
update: T4 TS with 6466 was ordered.
Turbo labs has yet to answer any telephone contact. Dont know what to do with this turbo prob throw it out since its garbage and they will prob charge me another 100+$ to fix it.
Prior to this happening they always responded via telephone contact.
I have every piece of this turbo in a box somewhere in the corner of the shop. ill take pics of everything and post it up. the compressor wheel cover shows signs of the wheel making contact with the cover.
The time between me speaking to austin on the phone asking why my car is smoking to the time i actually posted this on facebook. And they have yet to call email or pm me personally = 10 days and counting, posted it on the 5th.
It easy to make stupid comments, hard to help figure out WHY UR PRODUCT is defective not by install but by production not just for my benefit but for R&D upon them as a company. From what i understand they did not make more then a handful of these turbo's prior to my purchase, so R&D should be there first priority.
But whatever its over now.

Hmmm.. was actually considering this 25G.. now I'm not sure.. Sure many persons seem to be saying it was due to FOD, but it's still been inconclusive and I would have liked to hear what the manufacturers had to say, however the responses shown for support don't seem so great either.

3586HTA 6 years ago was running low 9's in a full interior street car. Has been as fast as 8.8's but I don't have any video of that.
Oh the 3586HTA is also smaller, 6262 equivalent we could build a 6466 equivalent it would be a 3788HTA. However when we tested it there was more power being made but it wasn't enough to offset in spool.
Junk Box I believe holds the 6466 record at 8.7, a full 10th of a second faster than our smaller 7 year old design.

im getting the 6466 for $1300-1400 if you could beat that price then we my friend might have a sale.
My boy is running a HTA86 on his 2006 STI that is @ the shop right now for a blown motor.....(he lifts the heads everytime so now we are doing the o-rings / big boy head studs to hold it together.)
Also another update AUSTIN FROM TURBOLABS DECIDED TO PRIVATE MESSAGE ME 2DAY ON FACEBOOK AND TELL ME TO SEND THE TURBO BACK AND HE WILL REBUILD IT! ......im gonna put it on the car again and make a weekly video see if the shaft play was as before. I honestly wanted this turbo to shine because i made a **** LOAD of power with 93pump with 25psi. and with the meth i wanted to crank it up to 32psi and add some timing and see what it makes since i now have a built motor.
Im sending my HEAD out to get ported with guides and oversized valves. Should be good outcome

just got the STM 4 port firewall catch can (with dip stick drain/balance shaft vent)
and ABS Delete kit
Im sending the Turbo back to them tomorrow which, i read a post on FACEBOOK stating that they WILL be fixing the turbo for FREE
and i took a screen shot of this post just for proof.
I honestly want this to work out if they fix this turbo and HOPEFULLY it lasts a very long time... like i said im not here to disgrace a company.
I currently am being sponsored by HEADWAY Performance and they just finished up my custom ported STOCK intake manifold which should be the BEST in the market and i would love to use this 25g turbo to test it with
