get me to 450

so ive had my car for 2 years now, and i set a goal of reaching 450whp. just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to get me there. i only have access to 91 octane fuel. and plan on ordering AEM's water/meth kit. current mods are in the signature. thanks for any replies.

What are your numbers now? How much boost are you running? I know your mods are listed but do you have a stock bottom end? Is this your DD? 450whp is getting close to pushing the stock bottom and keeping reliability.

it is a DD on stock bottom end. i have a set of pistons and rods in my storage unit that im saving for a rebuild. its never been on a dyno, but i want to think its in the ball park of 310whp at 20psi.

Ok. You can turn up the boost with the meth inject. Probably go around 24-28psi or so. Maybe more dependig on how it responds and whos doing the tune.

I would add a down pipe and cat delete along with the meth kit and that should get you into the 400+whp range.

To hit 450whp on 91 with water/meth you're gonna need a few more things. For starters you're gonna need a much bigger turbo, something along the lines of a MAP EF3 or a FP Red. You might even get away with a FP Green. You're also gonna need a bigger intercooler, at least 3.5 inches thick. Finally crank up the boost A LOT. Like between 24 and 28 psi depending on the size of the turbo. Most importantly take it to a tuner who is familiar with tuning water/meth injection.

ive got several parts in a storage unit. im just waiting to get everything for a rebuild. like i said earlier, i have pistons and rods, then i also have a shep stage 3 tranny, buschur t3 manifold, ID1000cc injectors, and a buschur intercooler.

yea i already have a full turbo back exhaust. perrin downpipe and buschur catback. that turbo spec sheet would have been helpful a while back. definitely wouldnt have bought a 20g. lol

Go with the S2's. the S1 is beneficial if you're running the stock turbo. anything 450whp and over go with the S2

awesome. also anybody know if the injen intercooler pipes will fit with a buschur intercooler? i dont really wanna buy parts if i dont really need them.

id get the injen upper ic pipe but an ETS lower ic pipe, its just better flow, and thats the one that really matters, and id also do a 272 cams and an external o2 dump from MAP, most people see up to a 20 some odd hp gain just from the dump and up to 12 from the licp, nd then a 20g, walbro 255 and some 1000+cc injectors, along with the blood of a pregnant unicorn and a good tune, you should be alright

my current mods are in the signature.... already have 272/272 cams, walbro 255 and a 20g. and with my PTE 880cc injectors im only at 57% duty cycle. at 20psi. so the injectors i have are big enough. i have a set of ID1000s waiting to be put in. along with a buschur intercooler. i also already have Injen upper and lower intercooler pipes installed and was asking if these would fit the buschur intercooler. cuz if they do, i wont need to buy more pipes. still planning to get GSC springs and retainers and a set of GSC S2s, and AEM Water/meth kit.
