Just boost leak tested my 03 because I thought my shaft seals where leaking. All the bubbles are coming from the lower part of the throttle body tho.

 

I can't tell if that's the bliss screw or what. Any ideas guys?

 

There is an o-ring under that cap that is allen keyed. I think the area is called the IAC warm-up flapper, or something.

I would remove the whole throttle body though before you service it. There is a spring in there (along with smaller parts) that will shoot out once you remove the cap; it's secured by a single screw.

 

Thanks man. I did some looking on mil specs site and it looks like your dead on. Looks like the 03 and 04 are the only ones to have it. Next problem is I can't find a replacement o-ring for it.

 

Yeah, I totaly forgot what size I replaced it with. I sourced it from an old paintball o-ring kit that I had. If you have any buddies that PB, one of them is bound to have the size you are looking for if they service their markers themselves. Good luck.

 

The people over at mil-spec are going to sell me one with the shaft seals.
