Keep Current Cams or Upgrade

So toying with the idea right now. I used to daily my evo but don't anymore so thinking of putting some more go fast parts in it..

I have cams in there now but not clear on size of them. Works build so they say they are *272...

My question is.. Is it even worth it. I have been looking at GSC S2's... Not worried about the labor of it just want to see if I will benefit with this CAM. I can' crack 400 and want to up my TQ.. I like the 20g and quick spool so not looking at this time to upgrade the turbo.

So looking for some more HP/TQ add some additional punch with out making it un enjoyable to drive. I don't track the car so I do enjoy driving it. My build is in my sig so let me know thoughts..

So right now I have the Works *272s and WORKS V-Springs and Ti-Retainers in there now. So thinking i could just plop in the GSCs and could keep the springs i have now.. Or should I get the GSC springs as well..

Here is the info I was able to find on my current Cams

Add approximately 29 HP and 29 ft-lbs of torque with the WORKS 272 Power Cams (both intake and exhaust). Specially designed for maintaining nearly stock idle characteristics while providing gains at every point in the power band. The WORKS cams help get the most out of your EVO’s 4G63 engine. They were designed to maintain broad power across the whole RPM range; not just peaky power as with higher duration cams. Far more than a regrind, the WORKS billet cams are made in the USA from fresh blanks to WORKS’ exacting design specifications (lift, duration, & ramp angles) and provide unparalleled drivability, tractability, and durability. Properly indexed and optimized for use with the OEM stock cam gears and, therefore, NO adjustable cam gears are necessary thusly saving you hundreds of dollars. The WORKS upgraded Valve Springs and Ti Retainers are recommended to prevent valve float and for higher revving engines. We also recommend a Power Enterprises Super Strong II timing belt. Properly tuned Brain Flash required for optimum drivability and performance, which is free for existing Brain Flash customers.
Specifications:
+29 HP @ 6700 RPM
+29 TQ @ 3700 RPM
Note: These are original US-Spec cams designed in-house specifically for the US-Spec EVO IX.

Also I did just rebuild the head of my car about 15 months ago.. pic

no idea on the works stuff.
but i have the gsc s2's as well and they are great cams.
i would switch to the beehive hi rev valve springs if the works ones arent equivalent.
have u tried e85?
i love the s2 cams but they lope pretty aggressively, with mivec u can tune it out.

I have thought about going E85.. Not super easy to get around me so didn't give it a ton more thought. why i was thinking going the CAM route.

As far as the work springs being the same or equal... Not sure how to tell. They are also tested at high RPMs but no clue if they are as good or not.

WORK spring info
For those EVO enthusiasts using higher lift cams than stock or looking for a redline exceeding 7800 RPM, this kit is a must.
Weighing in at 7 grams, the WORKS low profile Titanium Retainers allow the use of high lift cams preventing interference with the valve stem seals inherent with the OEM retainers.
The WORKS Valve Springs prevent coil bind with higher lift cams and deliver a higher seat pressure across the board to prevent high RPM valve float.
These are made in the USA.
