Electrical and HID issues

I've been having some odd issues with my EVO IX MR the past couple months. It all started about a month ago when my driver's side HID low beam turned a pinkish/red color. No flickering or anything, it just changed colors. The passenger's side light showed no change. Well, after about a week of that, the driver's side bulb just came back on, but this time very very bright with a blueish tint, and the driver's side bulb went to a dimmer, less blue, almost slight yellow tint. That lasted for about 3 days, and now when I turn the lights on, they both come on with those colors, but after about 20-30 seconds the driver's side light flickers and shuts off. Along with this issue, the occurrence in the video below happens randomly every time I drive the car. The battery, and brake lights come on together, then just go off. All these issues started on or around the same day. The car runs fine, no hesitation, no change in idle or anything that I can tell when this happens. The only thing that changes is that the interior lights/gauges dim very very slightly, almost not even enough to notice. You can see it in the video though. Any suggestions/ideas on what I could try? I have two new bulbs but haven't installed them yet because it doesn't seem to be a bulb issue because they both work, they just don't stay on. Please help.

Anytime I've seen that battery and brake light it's been the Alternator. Weird how they go on and off.

I'd check connections to and from including all grounds before replacement though

Good Luck man

thanks man, I did some searching, and I found info on that problem. Where can I find a list of the grounds to check? Also, where can I find replacements for the fuses on the battery cable?

And what about the HID issue? Anyone got any ideas on that, or do you think the two are related?

If your HID starts out white, then turn red/pink, a dying bulb is big possibility. My driver side bulb did that, and a new set was put in, problem solved.

If new bulb did the same thing it could be anything form bulb backward, e.g. ballast and/or the electric system.

It turned from white to pink/red, then back to whitish blue, but flickers and goes off now and the passenger's side turned a less blueish white at the same time. I have a new set of bulbs because I thought that was my only issue until these other issues started so I just wanted to be sure the alternator/fuse issue isn't causing my headlight problems. Also, anyone know where to get the fuses on the battery cable?

Thanks for all the help so far

I found the terminal block with the fuses for like $25. Ordered it from AWD Motorsports. We don't have a local Mitsu dealer in Baton Rouge. They went through like 3 owners in less than 2 years, then the most recent owner just let the franchise go.

Any input on where the grounds are that I could check? I'm going to get my alternator checked tomorrow to see if it's bad or going bad.

well none of that was the issue. the burning/burnt/shorting out headlight bulb was causing all my problems. I changed the bulb without touching or checking anything else, and everything started working normally again.
