For those with dumps

Want to put a o2 dump in the, while not daily driven, constantly driven evo whose parked outside. Are there any issues with rain? For reference I'm looking into the map dump.

I think hood exits look awesome but no I want a regular on. Just worried about heavy rain/slush and snow.

You won't have any issues with a under car dump.

you shouldnt have an issue with the o2 dump exiting the hood the water would evaporate, but if your sitting still, im guessing that would rust your turbine

Oh then yeah, you'll be fine. Plenty of guys here in Seattle run them with no issues.

Thanks for the responses. There's no difference in benefit between his editor under car correct? Except for one being super obvious to the police.

My evo ix with stock turbo and o2 dump (bottom) is pretty much daily driven. I have not seen any problems with the rain.

Be careful with under car dump tubes - they have caused engine fires, especially in rainy/wet conditions. Possible tranny failures too.

I can understand engine fire, in case there's oil or gas under there. Transmission failures though? Please elaborate.
