To Those Who Have a MAP Performance Engine
Its their new stock framed turbo coming out soon. There is a couple guys that are testing them now in the dyno forum. Similar to a 6766, output is around 800-900 with faster spool than a PTE. Check it out so far: TPG Evo FP Zero 9.51@151mph on 33psi! - YouTube Killin it
As for 2.4L gaskets, a stock 87mm hg will work fine, assuming your machinist does his job.
OP - MAP makes a great motor. Their porting is excellent and is proven better than most. Plus their pricing is quite reasonable.

If I didnt build my own engines, I would buy from MAP. Great service goes a long way. I just talked to my buddy that has his build from MAP and he has 15K on it so far. Not 1 problem in 2 years.
Had a map motor for the 6 bolt dsm I dropped in my truck. Turn around was no that bad. It had a little hiccup but currently runs strong. Would buy one for my evo 8 if the time comes. Just would have been better for me if they gave complete long blocks ready to bolt in at the time of the hiccup.
