I've tried looking and haven't found anything but does anyone know if the HKS 7460r for the Evo X will fit into the 9?

 

Have you looked at the picture for both? They are different, so no they will not fit.

 

It will not,
Evo X turbo rotates opposite direction and the configuration is different, so the answer is NO.
There is a used but NEW virtually HKS in the classifieds, with Cams, for $1800, which is a bargain.

I have two HKS turbos, one on each of my Evo's, and as most if not all owners will tell- its an awesome turbo that makes the Evo continue feeling like OEM in power-delivery/torque output curve-shape, but substantially boosted upwards at any load and a rpm range.

Its 490-500whp on DJ, or 435whp on Mustand Dyno on E85 turbo, that if a complete non-ethusiast person drove the car would not think twice it was modified, except that its really really fast.
