ANOTHER lifter tick thread

Alright ladies and gents. I have an 03 evo 8. HKS 272 intake and exhaust cams. ITM lifters with maybe 15k on them at most. I used rotella T5 10w-30 oil this change. Generally use Rotella T6 5w-30. Wix/Napa oil filters. All of my timing components were changed at the same time as the lifters. All tensioners, pulleys, belts, everything. This tick is only after warm-up, and only audible at idle to about 1500 rpms. Wtf. Tired of listening to it. Opinions?

Sounds like lifters to me. Are you saying that this just started happening or has been happening for the last 15K miles? If this noise has been consistent then you may have a bad lifter. Make sure your oil pressure is ok and I guess then the next step would be to check each lifter.

It's been happening for awhile. I replaced all the lifters and the sound has remained.
