Loud whistle/air sucking noise under throttle.

Hey guys at anything over 3000 rpms there's an extremely loud air sucking noise whistle. I have a perrin intake. Also I have a boost leak from the throttle body and am ordering the seals for it soon. Any help with what this whistle could be would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm still new to Evos but I'm pretty sure that sound is your turbo spooling through the intake.

Did you just install the intake?

Most likely just intake sound and/or boost leak.

I've always had it with the intake and it was always like that. But I doesn't sound right it's incredibly loud. You can't hear anything but that when it happens.

I had the same problem with my car that gradually got worse on a long road trip.... I never really found the problem I just wiggled my IC hoses and check that they were tight one day... and I haven't heard it since.

When I did a boost leak it was all coming from the throttle body. The boost leak test is fault as it doesn't check the intake system along with bov and so on. And I will upload the vid once I get the car fixed:/ it was just my luck that while driving 30 mph on the streets the latch failed and the hood swung open. ****ed up the clear coat on the carbon hood and bent it a bit, cracked the whole windshield, and I need a new lock as well. Funny thing is the latch is 8 months old and I bought it from STM.
