Whistling noise when driving, with vid/sound clip

I don't like to make threads but I have done some research and haven't found anything that is similar to my situation. I also don't like jacking threads, so I decided to look for some help on here.

My car has been making a slight whistle for about 4 months but I didn't think much of it. Recently I was doing a data pull and after that the whistle got a lot louder. At first I thought it might be the death whine of the TC but after reading about everyone elses problems and the fact that it whines on decel and my car whistles only happens when I press the gas, in gear or out of gear. I did a boost leak and found a leaky IM gasket and I thought the problem was solved.

I am afraid that it might have to do with my timing belt/tensioner. The noise changes if I go around a corner and give it throttle. That is what brought me to the pully system. I had a friend listen to it while it was parked but the noise just isn't loud enough to hear over the exhaust.

I changed my clutch about the same time I started noticing the noise but I don't have any EGR codes, so I thought I could rule out a vacuum line under the IM. I will check it tomorrow hoping it is that.

Here is the vid clip of it at about 40 mph. At first it was under accel, then I just rev'ed it so you can hear that it happens with the clutch disengaged also.

Thanks for any help that you can provide and sorry about my poor description of the noise.

Try doing a boost leak test and see what you find. Sounds like a major one right near the throttle body. Hopefully, that's it. Good luck.

Check the vacuum lines under the intake manifold near the throttle body. I had one that was always popping off till I zip tied it.

Check the gasket between the turbo outlet pipe and the turbo.

Could also be the alterantor pulley. I have had the exact same sound under throttle on a previous car and it was the alt. pulley best of luck!!

I did a boost leak test from the lower ic and found a significant leak coming from the TB gasket. I will do a boost leak from the turbo inlet and see what happens.

The thing that is bringing me to the pulley system is that when I was in a turn the noise changed. I will have to pull the timing belt off and check all of the pulleys to see if they spin freely. I will also check all the vacuum lines under the IM.

This car is a PIA until it is running right and then it is fun.

Thanks

Any other leaks found? Mine is doing the same thing around 8psi and up. Thanks
