installing oil squirters in a built(fresh) block
Long story short, bought a freshly built 2.2L 4G63 block from a well known member here. It's been sitting in my garage wrapped in plastic since last summer.
Sitting here at work ordering the extra parts I'll need for install. I can't look in it right now to see if it has oil squirters and he can't remember if it does.
Can they be installed with the crank, rods.pistons etc all intact? IE no head on it, on an engine stand with pan off. Can we access the bolt holes to install or atleast cap off the galleys?
I've never actually seen the inside of an evo block, so I'm just sitting here thinking of worst case scenarios etc.
Anybody have set they can sell me with the banjo bolts?

It is a PITA to install once the crank is in.
Best thing to do is look up and see if they are there.
From what I have seen the EVO blocks use the 1g DSM style banjo bolts, the bodies are different between the 1G DSM and the EVO

its not hard to install them them with crank already installed. do it all the time. just put a little tape on socket edge so bolt stays snug in socket. there are no crush washers for evo squirters. make sure the center pin is in place before you tighten. forcing can crack the squirter.
What is considered "through the roof"?
Maybe I'm a little paranoid but I feel that my oil pressure is higher than it used to be. I happened to notice it after I put in a Kiggly HLA. Not sure if that had something to do with it or just coincidental that I noticed it after I put it in but its certainly made me more conscious of my oil pressure.
So, what's typical oil pressure at say idle, 4grand and 8grand?

Warm idle mine is about 36psi, cruising at 60-65mph is 100psi and revving to 4500-5000rpm is 130psi.
Can't rev higher yet as I'm not tuned yet.
