I have been looking for an oil line kit, DIY or pre-assembled, for a 6262 I am wanting to install on my IX. I have yet to find a definitive answer to my search. I was looking into the MAP feed line kit, http://www.maperformance.com/map-tur...i-evo-8-9.html. I think I will still need the inlet adapter like the ones STM sells, http://www.streettunedmotorsports.co...et_fitting.htm.

And then the question comes in of whether or not to run an oil restrictor, it is a brand new JB 6262, most of what I have read leads to not needing one but I would rather not blow out the seals on it within a month due to too much oil pressure. Also, does would anyone happen to know off hand which oil drain fitting adapter I would need for it as well. STM sells a G-Series or GT-Series and I think I would need the G-Series but would just like to make sure.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated, tia.

I never run a restrictor on journal bearing turbos. The PTE uses a standard Garrett t series flange for the oil drain. Make sure to prime the Turbo before firing up the motor. Make sure to feed from the oil filter housing.

This. I believe $80 for the kit from STM.

Just sent Emery@STM a PM, hopefully he can help me out some. I was just hoping somebody already running the setup would be able tell me exactly what was needed. Thanks for all the help though!

Post an update when you hear back from STM, I am in the same situation... Plus does anyone know how to route the coolant lines with a jb 6262?

You loop them together since the pte unit is only oil cooled

Outstanding, thank you for the info! I knew it was oil cooled but was lost on the coolant lines

That's odd, my PTE SC61 BB turbo used coolant lines

The old DBB PTE used Garrett chra. Since the introduction of the ceramic DBB PTE it has been oil only to the chra.
