Hey guys just finished a full build on my evo 2.3 stroker.

On the transmission we did basically a bushwaker upgrade.

We did new synchros. New slides. New bearings and cryo treated.

Car runs fine but is having trouble getting into 3rd gear.

Even if car is idling and u try to engage 3rd gear its really hard to get it.

My tuner suggest the synchro isnt slowing down enough and he thinks the 3rd gear is damaged.

Any input or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Had a look at the car. It seems to be fine when shifting at high rpm. But very sticky at low rpm. And it doesn't downshift into 3rd
