Just cut the valve stem at a carefully determined position and they both stay in the valve guide. A small spring of my best though does need to be provided between the intermediate body and the valve .. and I will be giving it a shot once I take off my sas hardware. Seeing as how no one bought the new greddy fv I tried this

Driving now.. Seems to drive good. Using the lightest spring up top and a spring below from a retractable sharpie

Never any flutter even at the lowest lift angles. Part throttle accel feels definitely more powerful.

Very interesting. It seems like a good idea. How much boost are you running? Have you boost leak tested to see how high it will hold?

I should do a blt now, but it didn't leak beforehand with a single spring. 20 psi . It has a different vent now. It's not a long vent , but clear and short. I'd buy the real fv in a heartbeat if I wasn't tapped out from wheels and body panels lol ..

In design it's more like a pressure relief valve to the pressure of the bottom spring. Very interesting because now you can make it capture at a certain pressure before you reply throttle vs venting the whole charge pipe down to atmospheric pressure. I bet it's real close to atmospheric like I am now as I did no science behind the bottom spring. But the ability is there
