boost??

boost??

So I have a evo 9 mr all stock except for the bov so when im running my boost gauge only read till 1.o kg and it doesn't go over that??

1.0 kg? As in 1 bar? Probably boost controller set to that psi...

The gauge is like o.5 1.0 and 1.5 kg and I think im nt even reachin 1.0 kg idk if I have to adjust the boost controler or they told that maybe is a boost leak??

Is this using the stock MR guages? Its been a while since I had those so I really forget what they read in.

Yes it's in metric system and not imperial... 1.0 kg/cm2 = 1 bar = 14 psi ... Anyway give the boost control a 360 degree clockwise turn and check if your boost goes under 1 bar... if it does then it's your boost control... And I'm willing to bet that it is the boost control that just needs to be adjusted

If his car is all stock then he does not have a manual boost controller. He needs to do a boost leak test to help determine the issue. Before modding my car when it was new, I only hit about 1.2 kg/cm2 on the stock boost gauge. Chances are he doesn't have any issue though and the gauge just reads inaccurately.

Yeah is using the stock mr gauges!!! Cuz when I bought it they guy told that he put psi too stock but why it only goes to 1 bar??

when i bought my MR i was wondering the same thing. mine is a little off. probably just inaccurate gauge. might wanna do a boost leak test tho to be sure.
