So I was searching ebay and found this stock location turbo that bolts up to the manifold and o2 housing.

Has anyone run this? Would it even be worth it?

 

i would stay away from ebay, especially for a turbo. i would definitely purchase from a reputable vendor for a major mod.

 

Sounds like the atp stock replacement. Major hang up people have had is the sharp turn at the inlet for turbine housing. Sucker changes about 90 degrees. I think that fftec had a thread about one that did ok.

 

^^ what he said. For the money there are better options, MAP EF series, FP, CBRD.

 

The ATP bolt on turbine housing has been around for several years, Bang-for-the-buck is pretty good, there have been mixed reviews on it's performance.

this is a ATP turbo being sold through ebay. not a all the definition of ebay turbo to stay away from. this is a reliable garrett turbo with ATP exhaust housing. there is a guy in cali who ran one into the 9's on e85. cant be too bad. I have ATP 35r one for sale on the forums for cheap. local here made 680whp with it before moving to a bigger turbo. in short they work quite well when used with the megan exhaust manifold. the manifold directs the flow correctly to overcome the design of exhaust housing.
