So I was pulling out my motor and heard something pop off and fall to the ground. It most likely came from the engine bay... I don't think it popped off the engine. I can't for the life of me figure out what/where it broke off of... please help!

I took it apart and it looks like it is a little breather/filter for something...

emissions equip (egr or evap) on the bottom of the intake manifold? Ive got all my crap in a box and can check, but that looks familiar....

 

I was working on my car last night and it looks like it may be the little piece that goes on top of the intake manifold. I am working on the car again tonight and will keep this in mind if I come accross it. Taking off my intake mani/header so thatd open things up to look
