Just wanted to know if people who purchased these could share their experiences or results to how these work? I love the sound of the external setup, so I want to go this route as long as theres not a significant loss in spool.

Yes I had one, without the external wastegate that is, on an fp black. No loss in spool and it held boost much better through the powerband.
