Fresh motor eating bearings
This guy mentioned sand blasting and the owner replied:
"Nope will have it all cleaned when I do it this time. Didn't think about that when I installed new bearings, Shavings probably everywhere."
Could have implied to someone that sandblasting should have been done, so I was clarifying that it was a no no.
Anyways, like everyone else said, that damage is from trash still in the engine.

Make sure the oil passages are cleaned, as well as the pump, if you don't replace the pump and front cover. The contamination came from somewhere -- either the clearances were not right on your new motor, or it came from one of the parts you reused without cleaning them. The turbo can be contaminated as well as any oil line that was used when the engine failed the last two times… clean every oil passage, every line, and replace the cooler...
Clean/replace everything that oil touches. Have the machine shop hot tank the head. Replace the oil pump and cooler. Look into replacing the turbo as it will probably take a dump soon.
