QM 8 Leg install, HRB, did I leave this out?

I have had the trans mounted on the motor for a few weeks and did not pay attention to this piece. I dont think it would fit with the HRB but want to make sure before I put the setup in the car.

Basically, do I need this?:

Thanks , I'm worried as my measurement from the TOB to the PP arms came out in spec close to .140 but I feel like the gap looks bigger while the trans is currently mounted looking through the old fork window. I think I need to stop second guessing myself until I have the car started in 1st on the stands.
