Evo V intercooler piping

Does anyone know if the evo 8/9 intercooler piping is relatively close to the evo v? With a few modifications could I make it work or should I just build my own from scratch..?
Thanks,

it works i just fit an evo 9 intercooler to my evo6 it does require a bit of modding tho. the lower intercooler pipe needs the big long bracket in the middle to be cut n removed as it just gets in the way. as far as the upper intercooler piping goes your better off making a new pipe as that side of the piping just doesnt fit right with the new evo8/9 style and u can make a much straighter design i just made a pipe that has a slight bend and connected it to the stock rubber hose that connects to the intake manifold. good luck
