will Manley 156mm rods and stroker pistons fit?!

Great forum here guys the best anywhere really.
Ok my question i have a Tomei 2.2 stroker would Manley 156mm rods and stroker pistons fit in my setup?
Tomei specs are 85.5 bore 94mm stroke 150mm rod length.
I read English racing once saying they like long rod which is what this would be. But will it work for me? Are there any long rod setup out there did any encounter any problems?
Thanks everyone

I believe for a 94mm stroke you need 153mm pistons and stroker pistons with the pin moved up 6mm.

no the 156mm wont work.
there are plenty of nice 2.2 pistons being made. but I think all of them are for 150mm rod.
mahle, aries, cp, je, manley, all make 2.2 pistons

to use stroker piston designed for 100mm stroke you need either 153 or 159mm rods.

Ok Thanks I was reading and i was under the impression it's the pistons for the 156mm rods that have their pins moved up 6mm. I swear I read it somewhere! I've just bought Manley pistons part no 619005c-4 off member on here with plans on using with Manley 156mm I beam rods. I'm praying it will work. I'm on here to find out if it does.
Has anyone done it before or know anyone that has and made it work?

Cheers for reply mate. Do you know for sure it doesn't work can you elaborate more please? If it doesn't then I've just wasted money on buying the Manley stroker pistons!
The Tomei 2.2 is actually 2158cc not sure if that's classed as 2.1 or 2.2?!

Hi mate i got Manley stroker specific pistons part no 619005c -4 and Manley 156mm rods part no 14421-4.
Do you think this would work in my current setup of 85.5 bore 94mm stroke and 150mm rod length?
This is from a Tomei 2.2 stroker kit. But I want to run long rod for Lil bit more Rev so trying to figure out if i can straight swap the current h beam rods with the Manley i beams as I've heard the good for over 1000 hp.
Cheers

619005c -4 uses 94mm crank and 150mm rods. if you used the 156mm rods the piston would be above the deck by 6mm.

and you arent going to gain any revability by going to 156mm rod. how high a engine can rev is determined by the piston weight and rod strength and airflow at high engine sppeds.. making rod longer just makes rod heavier. it does reduce side loading by 2-3% but that has no effect on how high the engine can rev, venders talk praise on their 'long rod" setups but in reality they do very little if anything to help the engine rev higher.

I have those same pistons .020 over from Manley. They will work with a 94mm crank, 4g63 block, 150mm rods, and those 2.2l pistons (they are actually classed as a 2.1l on manleys website)

Doing it sunday. The machine shop put the pistons on the rods and test fitted everything for a minute to make sure it all worked together

what rods did you go with? Any suggestion on rods to make reliable 800hp atw all day everyday?

Ok Thanks mate.
Can I run the 153mm rods not dissimilar to English racing short long rods worth these same pistons?

I went with some Manley turbo tuff rods for my build. I wanted a motor that had good response off boost (hence the 10.5:1 comp and 2.2l), and could still rev high enough for a 9 sec. pass and make 800whp. This motor encompasses everything I want to do, and you don't have to buy custom rods with it. I also found a good deal on the rods and pistons so everything else kind of fell into place.
