Modification of OEM Oilpan
Hi guys. im just about to finish my 2.4build and i really want to prevent oil surge, since im driving alot on track with long turns and hard accelrations..
so i wounder.. Do i realy need to buy an expencive AMS pan or invent the wheel again?
i mean, ive been modifying alot of **** in my life and a oilpan is not any brainsurgery!
The pan is about 13cm deep, and the oil pickup is about 12.5cm
that leaves about 0.5cm of room to the bottom, so it doesnt vacuum it self to the floor.

id like to weld a plate over this, but with 6-8 8mm holes to the oil can fall down but not jump up in an accelration

and then, but this side open, and make it about 6cm longer and at the same time make the whole botom part of the pan 5cm deeper, and make the pickup 5cm longer

this will give me about 1-1.2l more of oil, and at the same time make it harder for oil to go over the edge and to the left side on a right turn..
anyone here have something about this?
