Clutch lost pressure overnight

Was driving great last night, now has no pressure till about 3/4 of the way down. No leaking fluid anywhere that I saw. I've been searching trying to find a list of things to check but most of the threads I found were people replacing parts and then they had an issue. Can anyone just give me a quick list of things to check out? I'm going to grab some clear hose and try to bleed it and see if it's just air in the system. If that doesn't work out, I'm not sure how to diagnose a possible bad slave/master cylinder.

Clutch is stock, a year old, maybe 2000 miles on it.
2003 Evo 8

Any input is appreciated

Check the reservoir area for signs of leaks .
Is the reservoir topped off?
Maybe air in the line .
Check the clutch line to see if it had a break where you could have a leak.
Uummm sometimes leaks are hard to spot...
Check

Thanks for the reply! The reservoir is right around the minimum level. I got a chance to get to the slave cylinder and pulled the boot and fluid came out, so it looks like its time for a replacement. Does it matter what brand it's replaced with?
