- GSC S2 Cams
- Full Race Manifold
- DBB Red
- Speed Density
- Map o2 Eliminator
- FIC 1100cc Injectors
- ETS IC + Long Route UICP + LICP
- Obviously I am doing my timing belt, new spark plugs, gaskets, etc while were at it.

Would this be one of those setups that could hit 500whp (not saying it will or I am going to, just thinking).
That's a nice setup, it will easily get you within the vicinity of 500whp

I don't see a built bottom end. You may want to look into that to handle the torque. at 450FP's at the wheel they tend to start bending. At least in super safe mode I wouldn't go over 500FP's at the wheel's. Look into building your motor.

Ya im on stock block, 64,000 miles. I wont go near 500whp. Its nice to know I COULD hit it. This stuff is this summers project. I will look into maybe doing a 2.4L next year.

Then you should hit 500whp safely, I wouldn't worry so much with a good tuner. I like that setup btw. Looks like it's going to be a blast to drive.

Keep us updated with your build, I'm quite interested in the results.

The red is much more interesting, I agree. But the top end that the Black produces can not be beaten by any other stock frame turbo.

The red kind of gives you a little of both worlds, spool and power. That's why it's the people's choice for stock frame turbos.

I will for sure and ya I don't think i'd like the whole full boost at 4800rpm with the black yuck!

Faisalm, I was actually thinking of doing the PTE 5858BB ETS T3 Kit this year. Decided against it.

Did you write a thread a few months ago about a friend selling his FP Red to you or something like that?

lol! Ya but it was me gonna sell my Red to my friend but did the math and financially with the crappy exchange rate decided against it. He ended up buying my other friends so it worked out perfect for both of us! He was cool about it too. He understood when I showed him the currency conversation!

Ah yes I remember now, you were selling your red and contemplating about a 5858 instead.

What was your old setup if I may ask?

haha ya! Have you seen any reviews on a 5858 on our motors, seems more Evo X's run them then 8/9's.

Well I don't have my new parts installed yet, so im still running the same setup. Its really basic setup. I bought the car with this setup.

- FP Red DBB
- 880cc Injectors
- Full Race Tubular Manifold
- Titek o2 housing
- GM BCS
- ETS Long Route UICP and LICP
- Speed Density
- ETS FMIC
- GSC S1 Cams
- Tuned and Installed at English Racing. The guy who had it previously was from Idaho so it has a 89 Octane tune. Guess Idaho has crappy gas or something. Aaron showed me the graphs, it made 406whp on this tune and when it had 92 or 93 on it (cant remember which octane) it made like 430whp.

I think the clutch is stock though (if its not stock, its some crappy exedy stock replacement lol) so I can feel it start to slip at bit when I fly through all gears and have passengers....by myself, its fine. Labour here is expensive, its like $1000.00 to replace a clutch. so im gonna tune on this clutch and I already have an appt booked for August.

Faisalm, thoughts on Comp Stage 2 cluch, unsprung?? Seems like it'll do the trick, I don't drag so...
