GSP 70mm Throttle Body Question

Hey guys. Installed my gsp tb today. But my question is, the tb has no nipples for the coolant hoses. Soo how will the iacv function without the temp reading from the coolant ? Also, initial start up the car idles at 2800rpms. Help.

Coolant hoses to the TB aren't needed unless you live in freezing climates so you just loop the hoses that would connect to the OEM TB.

hafa adai,

You don't need the coolant lines living on Guam.

I see yours is idling at 3K. Did you adjust the speed idle screw or on aftermarket ones tend to have throttle cable adjustment screws. Deactivate the iscv and set the base idle after warmed up. Then reconnect it. Should be decent after that. Probably need a tune too. GL.

Thanks for the tip man. Coolant lines are looped off now. Im new to Mitsu. Been a Honda guy all my life. So i figured using a forum full of people who share the same passion could help me. But I figured it out myself. By far I am no mechanic as most people self reflect themselves.

All due respect, for the other gentlemen speaking in brackish tones, if you pay attention to the date/time stamp, my post on the other thread was after I made this post. If you want to help a fellow enthusiast, then help. Otherwise, dont toss up your useless remarks that accomplished nothing for you and nothing on my car.

Cheers.
