Car wont warm start - injectors not firing

Hi - I am having issues with my Evo and was hoping to get some input on what might be wrong as I am completely out of ideas.

When I start the car cold, it runs and drives fine. The issue is that if I turn the engine off hot, it wont fire up again. If I listen to the injectors, they are not "clicking" when I try to warm start it. However, if I put a light probe on the injector harness, it is getting a pulse. Once the car cools off it will start right back up again. The guy doing the tuning tried adjusting the warm startup tables every way he could think of, but there was no improvement at all.

My setup is as follows;
-2005 GSR
-Walbro 450 fuel pump on E85
-FIC 1750 injectors
-AEM FPR
-Stock ECU being tuned on Evoscan

Sounds like cranking enrichment ipw are not set correctly in the higher temp cells since it is only when the car is warm/hot. Post up your settings so we might can give you an idea.

Knock sensor came up during tuning. I dont have access to a tactrix cable so unfortunately I cant post the table data however I can say that the tuner I am using is very experienced with Evo's, and he worked on the car for 3 days before deciding that the problem wasnt in the tune itself.

To me its almost like the amperage on warm start is too low to actually trigger the injector, but I have no idea what would cause that, or how to even test it.

Regardless of him being experienced or not doesn't mean he knows it all. I have seen some "experienced" tuner work and have been shocked. The best thing you can do is have him email you the tune and post up some of the tables in the tune file.

Ill ask him to send me a copy, but in the meantime what are some other issues that might cause injectors to not fire when warm starting the car? What actually determines the voltage/amperage of the signal that gets sent to the injector?

There are many things that could be causing your problem. I think you need to establish if this is a software or hardware issue. Posting up your tune would allow the guys here to rule out software issues. Then you can begin diagnosing a hardware issue.

The specific issue in this case was that the latencies in the voltage adjustment tables were set too low.
