I was wondering if an evo 8 owner with the torque solution 5 speed tranny mount could take a measurement for me. I am building a 2.4 dohc engine to drop in my fwd lancer. Im using torque solution mounts and want to make sure the width of the mount isn't narrower like it is on the eclipse mount. can someone measure the distance of the bolt hole spacer that goes through the center of the actual mount? it's about 3 1/4" o the lancer mount and under 3" on the eclipse mount. Anybody's help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Can someone at least measure your stock 5 speed motor mount? obviously its the same width..
I know at least 1 of 100+ members that viewed this thread owns an evo 8 or 9 with a 5 speed.. lol

stock sleeve is 3". It is a fairly tight fit in the frame too.

 

thanks man! thats what I'm looking for! so I think the evo 5 speed mount is about the same width as the base lancer. Just wanted to make sure before i ordered one up.
