Greddy Intercooler

I wanted to know is the greddy intercooler kit for our car the vspec core or the rspec core. I would hope it would be the rspec. It says on greddys site that the vspec is for low to medium boost, and that the rspec is for higher boost. being as 19.5 PSI is not very low to medium in my opinion, I hope it is the rspec.

If you can afford the R-spec.. go for it.. I have it.. its good.. very little pressure loss and very little forward resistance... and cooling is very consistent.. i get the same temperature from intake to throttle body...

nonmature,

I'm assuming you want to know this because of prostreetonline I/C's they are selling. Please see my post regarding the HP capacity of the type-V. Boost solutions is running the R-spec and had to make MAJOR modifications to make it fit. The V-spec should fit right in. I'm going to call road race to verify that its the one they are running on their car (the type-V). If it is then were in business. I've got the Type-V in my room right now and should be installing it on sunday if everything goes right.

Bought mine from Initial D.

Edit:

I called road race and have your answer, please look here:
