boost controller

when hooking up a electronic boost controller what do you guys do with the stock boost controller connector? Can it be left unpulled? I ask because i broke mine in half so i can't connect it, will it throw a CEL?

i just got a code p0243 and was wondering if this was the cause?

if you leave the harness unplugged...you will get a check engine light. i just plugged the solenoid back in, got a piece of vacuum tume, one end to each fitting of the solenoid, and just wedged it near the light. i've read some people have been talking about an idea where you put a resistor between the two leads...tricking the ecu into thinking that the solenoid is still there...and thus no cel....enjoy
