HELP, broke of cam belt tension tool

I need to know the best way to get the can belt tensioner tool out that I broke off in the motor.
I bought the tool from RRE. I think I overtightened when I installed it.
Cam swap went great, followed Evo Motorsports directions.
When I went to remove the tool, it turns once then snapped off almost flush where it enters the access hole.
I already started to remove front cover to access the front motormount that it threads thru.
Has anybody had any experience with this?
Any help woud be great.
...I knew it was going to smooth!!!

yup, mine broke about the last half inch of threaded rod off and when I started the car it wore my timing belt down by getting stuck on the oil pump sprocket between the cover and the gear.

You need to undo the crossmember braces, drop the passenger motor mount (to lower the engine), take the accessory drive belt off, acc tensioner and idlers. After that you should be able to get the lower timing belt cover off. Remove the timing belt auto tensioner and from there you have a couple options...you could try and tap the bolt and pull it through (you removed the tensioner, so it's not in the way). Or you could try and tap it at the hole near the motor mount and back it out (good luck with that, if there's no tensioner pushing back against it you might stand a chance). Or you last option is to cut it off flush, redo your timing and reinstall the tensioner compressed and then relieve it once the belt is on and put everything back together. Only bad part about that is you can no longer relieve tension without pulling the tensioner and all the parts associated with getting to it. Good luck.
