Will I benefit from now injectors?
Hi. I've got an evo 9 fq-340. So far it's got a decat 3" turbo back, a grimmspeed EBC waiting to be fitted, forge recirc valve and I'm seriously thinking about ordering a ets 4" intercooler and intake. With them mods would it benefit from bigger injectors or is that only necessary if I change the turbo? I'm just trying to do some fairly straight forward mods before remap to get me the best gains I can without doing anything too drastic to the motor... For now
Thanks

Thanks
New injectors by themselves don't give you any gains unless you had to restrict power on the old ones due to lack of fuel supply. If you're planning on other power mods, and you're currently close to the limit of what your injectors can handle, then yes you may need them as a support mod. If they still have plenty of headway before they start getting strained, you don't need to upgrade.
What injectors do you have now and what are your power goals?

Whatever injectors came stock in the car. I don't know tbh. I'm not looking for mental power but feel like it's a bit of a waste of power I could potentially have if I don't do the "little things" before remap.

yes your oem injectors may possibly restrict you. Either way, do the initial tune with injectors because alot of tuners will charge you a large fee if you change the injectors because they have to do alot of adjustments when you change injectors
I did actually forget to mention I've already thrown a walbro 255 in it. Any particular brand or size injectors I should go for? I literally know nothing about them other than you get different cc's...
Thanks

what fuel do you plan on running? if it is E85 make sure you go over 1000cc. You also may want to go a little larger in case you plan on upgrading your turbo down the road

I'm just going to run it on pump fuel for now. Maybe I'll change to e85 one day if need be. Is there any downside to having huge injectors or is it a good idea because then all bases are covered?
Injectors by themselves don't do much. Fuel pump would be a good thing to upgrade with the injectors and if your think you might run e85 one day get big injectors. My car is set up for e85 and I used to run it but switched back to pump gas because it's more convenient. I have 1050cc injectors love the setup.
My mods list will probably be:
3" decat turbo back exhaust
TB ported to 65mm, IM and EM ported and polished
4" ETS intercooler kit and ETS intake
Grimmspeed EBC
Walbro pump
Forge recirc valve
Then a remap to tie it all together obviously
Will all of that be fine on the stock injectors?

For the mods you listed, stock injectors should do it. I see you mentioned you use ur car for daily... But you can still throw 1000cc injectors and daily the car on e85 or regular fuel.. If you're already paying for a tune, mind as well get it tuned on dual maps, and get it out of the way.

What else is needed to run e85? Upgraded fuel lines?? Anything else? Also how do you switch between maps if you get dual? Also how do you go about switching from one fuel to the other? Let the fuel almost run out and then fill up with the other fuel and switch to the appropriate map? Sorry for the bombardment of questions
You're fine with the mods you have to run e85.. Really only fuel pump and injectors are needed. As for map switching I just hold my gas pedal down before i start the car, and the CEL flashes and you're on whatever map your tuner sets. Same with switching back. And you're correct about running the fuel out when switching to e85.. When I am on 91, and I want to fill up E85, I usually wait for my fuel light to turn on,and than ill drive another 20-25 miles than fill up E85 and switch maps at the time of fill up. Hope that clears it up for you.
