It will also be good to talk to your tuner see what injectors he recommend and if he can do a tephra v7 with dual maps. If he can't do this then I suggest looking for a better tuner as well.

Ok, that's some good info there. Thanks a lot. Maybe I'll talk to the guy who's going to be doing my map and see what he thinks. What sort of power difference is there between e85 and normal fuel?

NR Autosport. I was torn between them and Ap tuning but NR attach an external boost gauge because they found the ecu reading isn't always accurate, and that sounded like good thorough service to me

Just be ready to pay pretty penny for dual maps cause it's going to be 2 dyno tunes.tuner will tune you on regular gas, then change the fuel and start over again on E85.it's time consuming.
Just for example my primary ,power tune is on E85,second map is on 93 for winter and it's not a power tune,it's just simple flash with scaled injectors and stuff.I can't wot .just for easy driving.i saved money that way.but choice is yours.

Yeah I did figure that 2 maps wouldn't come cheap. I've still got quite a lot of work to do before mapping so have plenty of time to decide which way I go, but thanks for the info fellas, it's appreciated

It's a quit of a chunk in a power difference. You may want to consider doing a e-tune.. There is lots of great e-tuners that will do dual map tunes for a fair price. PM Christian at puredriveperformance.com

Does the FQ-340 have the same stock turbo as the USDM IX? If so, your stock injectors should be fine on pump gas but they won't have enough flow for E85. If your turbo is bigger than our stock turbo, you'll be limited by your injectors even on pump gas I suspect.

Stock injectors are fine with what your planning to do. People throwing on 1000cc injectors for mild bolt ons are generally wasting their time. The injector will just trickle fuel and won't create a nice mist for combustion. Evo's stock injectors are pretty good for bolt ons and boost up to about 1.6 bar

Well I WAS planning on getting dual mapped so I could run e85 and pump fuel, but I've recently found out that they only sell e85 at the track here so i won't bother with the dual map, meaning I won't actually NEED new injectors yet I guess.
