You have to tap into the wiring harness, can't remember what Pins you need to use, but I think it may be similar to the Evo 8 one.

will be running it with an evo 8 ecu if I do this....

Might use the E6 ECU will like to know eitherway

This is what I used on my jdm evolution 8 MR. It comes with a 3 plug ecu and no map sensor from factory.

Pin 42 +5v
Pin 46 Chasis ground
Pin 92 Signal
