OEM, Duh. I am not a fan of eagle at all and some people consider Eagle rods a down grade from the stock rods so I sure as hell wouldn't stick their crank in my car. With that said.. I saw a little blurb somewhere from English racing where they were talking about all the cranks they have broken.. they mentioned that they have never broken an eagle crank. I still wouldn't use one, though.

Eagle had a bad year (2010-2011?), where they had mass produced cranks that were either improperly designed or they were build incorrectly or something of that matter, since then, their reputation has gone downhill.

Buschur used to build his engines using Eagle cranks, and once the Eagle cranks starting breaking left and right and customers complaining, Eagle made it up for the customers somehow. Since then, I don't believe he has used them.

Precision Turbos had that same incident when they used to modify Garrett turbos, but they were lucky enough to gain back their customers and some.

Personally, I hadn't and wouldn't use an Eagle product ever since that incident. Eagle, I feel, haven't put in the effort to gain back the trust of the 4G63/64 community.

Plus the OEM crank has been proven enough to be very very durable and capable.
